"Today it’s all about protecting what's left of our invaluable coastline, including our public recreational harbors, from the encroachments of private commercial interests and luxury development geared toward only the wealthy.  Pursuant to the California Coastal Act and California law, public harbors and lower cost visitor serving amenities are prioritized and protected.  These mandates, and our legal obligations to protect precious natural resources, beaches and ocean waters, and the need to make available to all, must take precedent".

I personally support the efforts of DPBA in their efforts to protect public ocean access and preserve affordable recreational boating.  The organization has a long history of speaking out clearly and effectively on behalf of well managed public stewardship.  Together we can make a difference!
