The Dana Point Boaters Association is a California Not-For-Profit IRC §501(c)(4) Corporation. The Association intends to be a permanent organization/association within Dana Point Harbor now and in the years to come.
While the Association focuses on many issues presented to recreational boaters in Dana Point Harbor, one of the more significant efforts will be what the County of Orange refers to as the "Dana Point Harbor Revitalization Plan". The Association’s membership are boaters & non-boaters who are interested in and committed to helping promote, develop, and implement the best Dana Point Harbor Revitalization Plan. This is accomplished by working with OC Dana Point Harbor, City of Dana Point, Department of Boating and Waterways, South Coast Water District, California Coastal Commission and other agencies. It is our mission to involve all boaters and make sure our needs, wants, and ideas are heard and acted on. Together we can have a positive impact going forward for the next 50 years.
If you should have any questions, comments, ideas, and/or suggestions please send them to us by Email:Officers@DanaPointBoters.org, Mail (see below) or by calling us at (949) 485-5656. We appreciate any and all comments in helping our cause, efforts, and look forward to hearing from you.

We need your help on a very important matter. DPBA is nothing without its members. We are a grassroots organization, your fellow boaters, and as such we need your help to build the membership. Please help us help you:
Join the Dana Point Boaters Association. Please understand that getting Boaters Blast emails does not mean you are a member of the Association. Please go to Join Now or Renew Now.
Join and participate in our blog, Save Our Harbor. Note that receiving Boaters Blast emails or having joined the DPBA does not mean that you are automatically participating.
Participants in the Save Our Harbor Blog gain direct access to a wealth of boater discussions and information that you will surely find helpful to understand boater issues as well as what’s happening in our harbor.
Pass our Website link along, http://www.DanaPointBoaters.org, to anyone that you think might benefit from participating in the Association.
If you CC Secretary@DanaPointBoaters.org then we will add their email address to our Boaters Blast distribution list as well as your own. (No worries if you join as your name will automatically be added to this list.)
Another thing that we urge you to consider, at any time it strikes you: Get directly involved with the Association’s efforts in any area of boating advocacy that you have an interest in or desire to help on. Maybe just stuffing envelopes (probably not the best example as most everything these days is electronic) but all member involvement helps the cause and will translate to benefit for yourself as well as the community of fellow Dana Point boaters.
One last thing, we want to hear from you! Even if you just have an question and/or opinion that you think we would benefit from hearing. It’s easy, just send an email to: Officers@DanaPointBoaters.org and you’ll be hearing back from us. Promise.
